We –- Chris Braswell and Linda Coats –- founded Steamers on the Outer Banks of North Carolina in 1994. From the beginning our focus has been on fresh seafood, creative & straight forward cooking techniques and pleasing our customers. Locals and visitors alike have made Steamers a part of their Outer Banks lifestyle and we love the fact that so many of our customers return year after year.

Steamers Shellfish To Go is not a franchise. We are a unique restaurant and catering business owned and operated by two people who are passionate about great food and the people we serve.
2009 marks our 15th season in Corolla, NC and every year some of our customers approach us about opening a Steamers in Washington DC, the Jersey Shore, Chicago, Florida, . . . you fill in the blank. As time goes by we think more and more seriously about these requests.
We are a profitable company with proven recipes and a system that works. As we contemplate the possibility of expanding the business, we look forward to hearing from you, your experience, and your thoughts on the possibility of partnering with us.
